Why you need a Baidu SEM account?
Market research should be the initial step in any effective marketing strategy, regardless of the industry. Thankfully, it doesn’t always have to be a pricey market analysis with intricate competitor analysis and forecasts. Often, a quick online search using a search engine like Baidu would suffice, but of course, you need first determine whether you are eligible to register an account.
This post includes a list of all the paperwork needed to open an account directly with Baidu Inc.
The offical documents are required to open a Baidu SEM account:
1. A scanned copy of the company business license.
2. A scanned copy of the passport from the cooperate legal representative (owner).
3. A screenshot of the company registration information on local official website (Desktop Fullscreen).
4. An account confirmation letter from your bank or local tax office.
5. A picture (photograph) of the “Certificate of incorporation” from local goverment.
*All these documents should be translated by company designated by Baidu. The cost ranges from 500 rmb -2000 rmb.
